From a September 2006 tour of the home. We were given an hour on the property to study the design, enjoy the furniture and facilities, and take these photographs. The home has a very complete collection of original furniture designed by Mr. Wright, and a detached studio and office joined to the main home by a canopy that forms a carport.
Photos from a summer 2005 tour of Kentuck Knob. Sadly we were not allowed to photograph the interior of the home. It shares many features in common with the Ray Brandes house, being a FLLW Usonian of similar vintage.
Photos from a summer 2005 trip to Fallingwater. It is comforting and beautiful to be inside this space, and it serves well as an example and inspiration for architects, designers, and artists everywhere. I travel to Fallingwater again this fall and will post more photos from that trip.
